A private non-profit residential program for adults with developmental disabilities







Mission Vista is a private non-profit residential program for adults with developmental disabilities. Referrals to Mission Vista are made through Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Mission Vista has been in operation since 1972 in the Wenatchee Valley.

Mission Vista provides supervision, training and assistance in home living skills in a variety of settings. Currently Mission Vista consists of four separate entities: Mission Vista Group Home, Residential Living, SL 24, and Vocational Services.

PURPOSE

"The purpose of Mission Vista is to provide outstanding residential and employment services, personal growth and training to reach full potential for adults with developmental disabilities in our program."

Mission Vista believes that it is consistent with its purpose and its philosophy to endeavor to find the best way to help people to enjoy the benefits of their own increased Power & Choice whenever decisions are made about their lives, to assist with developing and maintaining Relationships, to help find successful ways to add to their Status and to their Contribution to the community in which they live, to discover and implement training that will help to increase their Competence while maintaining strategies that will safeguard concerns about their Health and Safety.

The administration office for Mission Vista is located at 205 Palouse Street in Wenatchee, Washington. Applications are accepted for employment at this location.

NOTE: Placement in one of the Mission Vista residential programs is done through a referral from the Division of Developmental Disabilities a division of Department of Social & Health Services.
