Mission Vista is seeking attentive and trustworthy people to join our staff in providing excellentcare for our clients. The Vocational Specialist position is responsible for assisting individualswith developmental disabilities to obtain and maintain successful employment in the communitythrough Individual Employment Services and to obtain integration in the community throughCommunity Inclusion Services.

• Primary functions of the job are job searching, job development, and job coaching and maintaining consistent professional contact with local employers.

• Community Inclusion functions include assisting with community activities and volunteer
positions.
• Completing and maintaining required documentation are also key functions of the position.
• Maintain consistent, professional communication with client supervisors as a means of
supporting clients.
• Assist Community Inclusion clients in identifying personal interests and favorite activities.

Requirements:
• 1-2 years’ Experience caring for others in a registered and/or medical facility preferred
• Driver’s License with Transportation: Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license
and have reliable transportation.
• Background Check: Successful applicants will need to pass a background check.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills is required.
• High School Diploma: Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-Starter: We’re looking for individuals who are proactive and self-motivated.

Pay/Benefits:
• $20.00-$22.00/hour
